NinjaTrader 8 Not Responding or Freezing Windows 7

We are starting to see some reports of NinjaTrader 8 having issues with .Net Framework 4.7 it seems that is related to memory allocation. A simple fix for now is to uninstall .Net Framework 4.7 and install version 4.6.2 follow the steps below to resolve the issue.

Step 1

Open the Control Panel by clicking on “Start” then typing: “Control” in the list click on “Control Panel“.

Step 2

Once Control Panel shows up click on “Programs and Features” or “Uninstall a Program

Step 3

Find “Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7”, Click on it, then click on “Uninstall/Change

Step 4

Select “Remove .Net Framework 4.7 from this computer.” then click next.

Step 5
Click “Continue“.

Step 6
Now we need to download a older version of .Net click here to get the download. After you arrive on the page click on download.

Step 7
Run the installer from the download location. Accept the License Agreement then click “Install“.

Step 8
After the installation NinjaTrader 8 should now function correctly. Make sure not to install any Windows updates having to do with .Net until Ninja has the issue resolved.
